Ok so almost there..
I installed an atheros ARB5B225 and Wifi and bluetooth work a treat
I have opted for a voodooHDA audio which works just great i think its v2.8.7 via multibeast.
I will look at the USB guide but for now 1 out of 2 USB with me is fine!
The battery with virtualsmc and battery kext did not work unfortunately, so much so it kernel panicked the boot.
Again not a huge dealbreaker but would be good to get fixed.
My main concern at this point really is whether the intel hd3000 works correctly...
I'll be honest I really struggle with getting my head around patching, I tried to have a go and got really confused! is it quite simple?
I have the correct resolution but no slider for brightness (default brightness is kinda dull, but if i sleep and wake its better) and I have attached a image of the toolbar as i think you said it needs to be transparent if the graphics are right?
Also the quality for say youtube is kinda poor like its a slightly lower resolution, probably because there is no acceleration?
