The only thing I had to do was turn off video enabler for sound I used a voodoo installer.

Here's what I did:
Chamelon to let it boot off the HDD..
Official Realtek 2.0.6 for 81xx for network..
Graphicsenabler=No (had to use this for my geforce 640)
VoodooHDA-v.2.7.4.r63.pkg for audio

Great news!!! I knew there was some option to flash the BIOS on my ASUS P8z77-V Deluxe, but I was reluctant to do so; it's relatively new, and I didn't want to brick it since ASUS' customer service is a mixed bag. But, now that you've posted this, I believe my Hackintosh dreams are back on the horizon!!!
