System config in sig. Have been getting some weird freezes on system - hard disk light on solid. Check of system log is showing: Jan 16 19:05:15 Ricks-Mac-Pro kernel[0]: AppleRAID::completeRAIDRequest - error 0xe00002ca detected for set "HPro2R" (98846874-B4FC-4E46-9EFD-61C520E0CCCC), member 00291077-4A01-46DC-B810-9B4459B96CB6, set byte offset = 8119386112. Jan 16 19:05:15 Ricks-Mac-Pro kernel[0]: disk3: I/O error. Jan 16 19:05:15 Ricks-Mac-Pro kernel[0]: Jan 16 19:05:16 --- last message repeated 1 time --- Disk 3 being the RAID volume - how do I determine WHICH of the drives is potentially failing? Can I boot into a UniBeat Installer Stick, and use Disk Utility to attempt a repair of the RAID0 Volume? Time Machine appears to be backing up correctly - and I'm doing a CCC Snapshot to an ESata external drive - but I'm (needless to say) a little FREAKED OUT. The first attempt at a CCC was throwing all sorts of errors in the system log (like the one posted above) - the second pass is looking OK (not logging errors - not freezing). Suggestions on how to diagnose (identify failure/failing drive in array) and repair/recovery scenarios are appreciated... Rick
