Need some help with this the mobo is asrock ab350m hdv r4, I can’t find the xhci handoff option anywhere. Tried updating and downgrading my uefi to no effect, there is a usb configuration section, but the option isn’t there

Are you having issues in macOS without it? I haven't needed to change this in several macOS iterations.

my USB 2.0 ports aren't working even after i mapped them, tried lots of guides and this is the one thing i still haven't gotten to :/
hackintool and other tools don't even detect any devices i insert into them

edit: on second thought, this is probably unrelated to the usb handoff, my mobo has 2 controllers, one xhci and one ptxh, the only ports that aren't working are the ptxh ones

edit 2: got it fixed with the genericusbxhci kext
