So do i need this patch or not? xD

thank you it works. on gigabyte Z370P D3 from F10 bios to F12. I used the terminal string.
Suggestion for novice: EFI partition must be mounted before doing the terminal command

I have an error when trying to install mac osx Mojave....I believe it's related to a bios update and I've tried the patch however I cannot load up the clover configurator because I don't have access to a mac...can someone take a look at my efi? I can't seem to figure out where I've gone wrong. Thanks, Alan

Hi there.

The on screen error - 1393 - is indeed caused by a BIOS update. @mattystonnie 's patch should sort that.

Also note your GTX1080 is not supported after High Sierra so you would probably need to disable or remove it. The former can be done with a Whatevergreen boot command if you activate your iGPU.

:)

Thanks, I've tried adding the script from the patch directly into the plist file just through a text editor...Not sure if that's even a possible solution, but so far no luck

Yes, the config.plist is just plain-text xml code so easy to edit. As long as you stick to the formatting.

How did you create your installer in the first place?

I created the usb bootable using gibMacOS originally

Just a thought, but can someone with a z370 board send me there working plist config file? just so I can see what the patch section looks like?
