If you struggled with a simple patch then this one is going to blow your mind :

If you use UEFI version 2203 or later the system will hang during the boot of macOS at apfs_module_start:1393. @mattystonnie has created a patch that fixes this.

Hi, I’ve tried the patch and still can’t get it to work. You posted a second one and that didn’t work for me either. Then I tried them at the same time... no go. Still just an apple and an empty progress bar. Should I try something else?

So I plugged my USB back in this morning and Mojave started installing, then hung once the bar was full. Any ideas?
