First time build

Hey guys I am stuck at the moment I am installing 10.10 yosemite on a desktop computer and it boots into clover i do believe its called where I reach a screen with 2 hdd icons then I click the one on the right booting me into yosemite but instead it gets stuck on a black screen with a apple symbol and a loading bar on the bottom where it reaches about 1/3rd and gets stuck

Processor = Core 2 Quad Q6600
Mobo = Unsure of

Graphics Card = ATI 4330M

*Update I removed the graphics card and it booted to the OS X install screen but now no hard drives are showing

I think you will have to supply more hardware details, especially the for the motherboard and it's chipset. In the mean time why not boot with the flag -v and take a photo of the screen at the point of failure and post it here.
