MidnightX's Build: Intel Core i3-4160, Gigabyte GA-H81M-S2PV - First Build ($300 to $400)

Hi everyone. First of all I am new here so if this is posted in the wrong place can this please be moved to the correct section.

As the title says this is my first time build. I have done up a small list of parts that I will be using in my build. The main goal of this build is to be about $300 to $400 range Hackintosh. This is to go against the Late 2014 Mac Mini price range of around $499 and to preform the same or better.

Intel Core i3-4150 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor (awaiting)

The processor have Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics and it is not supported on a desktop configuration.

If you want to check compatibility of any hardware, then better open a thread in Forum > The Build > Compatibility Advice > Desktop Compatibility

I am going to use this to get around that hence why I picked the CPU that I did.

Yes. This will be a fix for the graphics issue.

Good Luck..!
Thank you. I found it before I did up the parts list and that's what I found. If I can't get it to work like I said I will be adjusting things as I go. I can pass the 4150 down to a different build. ;)

If you had not purchased it, then it is better to avoid this as so many processors are available with natively supported graphics on OS X.

I have finished my build and it seems to be running with no problems that I can find so far but I have 2 questions.

1 - Are photos of the parts and the build are wanted to be posted?
2 - Are benchmark screen shots wanted for completed builds to see how it does?

Not really...

I thought I would take the time to do a post not only to let everyone know 2 things and ask 1 question.

- I have uploaded 2 screen shots to the main post that are benchmarks to give you a better idea how it
- The day I made this topic is when I buil my Hackintosh been using it since then. I am also proud to say that I have not experienced any kernal panics, random freezes and such with this build since the day I built it so for me this build is very stable.

My Question
Is there a section where builds can be posted but not under the version of Mac OS it will be running. I want to use this build but do a upgrade post of it and how it runs on newer OS as they come out?
