First Hackintosh Workstation Build

Hello everyone,

I'm gonna build my first hackintosh audio workstation with the following parts:

FRACTAL DESIGN DEFINE R4 BLACK
SEASONIC M12II-520 BRONZE 520W
INTEL CORE I7-4790 3.60GHZ
NOCTUA NH-U12S
ASUS Z97-A
CRUCIAL BALLISTIX SPORT 16GB
SAMSUNG 850 PRO SERIES 256GB
CRUCIAL MX100 512GB

but before buying them I need some help:

Is the OS fully functional with third-party software? Will I have any issues or they'll work as if on an authentic Mac? Will I be able to activate/register software even if my system is not an authentic Mac?
I'm going to buy some pretty expensive stuff so If they don't work then what's the point of building this machine?

When you install OS X it's exactly the same OS that runs on a Macbook, Mac Pro etc.
The main difference is the Chimera/Clover boot loader used to load the OS at boot up.
So you can register and use any 3rd party software that can run on a Mac. When you
do run OS X software updates you'll need download and install the Combo Update from
Apple instead of clicking Software update from the Apple in the Menubar. The only
things that aren't working right now are iMessage and playing protected content, (movies
and TV shows etc.) from the App Store in iTunes.
