Hei.

I want to build my first hackintosh, and i wonder if someone out there can help me choose som good hardware.
I have a fresh download of Mountain Lion from apple store.

I am going to use it as a home theater system, and not for games, and stuff like that.
I have a NAS that is 6TB so no need for big drives, and if there is any possibility to use onboard graphics.
USB 3.0 is something i want to have.

and it would be great if it`s not very complicated to install Mountain Lion.[h=3][/h]
Sorry if this is in the wrong post. (feel free to move it)
And sorry if my English is not the best.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I suggest you read the Buyer's Guide in the Articles menu above first.

Thanks for reply.

I have been looking on the guide, but i could not find anything that i fancy.

can anyone tell me if this will work.

Samsung 840 Series SSD 250 GB Sata

Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz

Gigabyte Z77N-WiFi 1155 Intel Z77 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Fractal Design Node 304 Mini-ITX

Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz

And if there is a lot of modifications.?
Still hoping to use oneboard graphics.

I would like it to be simple, since i dont have any experience with hackintosh..

Again, thanks and sorry for bad English.

If the case can hold your power supply then yes I believe this should work. Note that the WiFi is not supported in OSX Mountain Lion.

Thank you.

I dont care about WiFi. i use cable, i get more stability.

so lets hope i can do this. =)

Hi Xerox,

I was wondering how your build went as I am planning on building my own using almost exactly the parts you used.

Only thing different I was going to do was to use the Corsair 650 Modular PSU (TX 650M)...not sure how much of a problem it will be fitting that into the case vs what you used as the 650 is a little bit bigger.

Please do share your experience fitting your PSU into the Node 304 case.

I think it is a great looking compact case from the pictures...what did you think when you saw it in person?

Thanks and good luck with the build!
