Hello everyone,
I'm so glad there is this helpful community for beginner builders like myself. I am a life time Mac user but really want to build my first Hackintosh rather than spending the world on my first new computer in 7 years.
I have put together this build spec with the idea that I would be dual running Windows on one NVMe drive and macOS Catalina on the other NVMe. The other SATA SSD and 7200 HDD would serve as FAT32 drives that bridged both systems so I could easily work with files on both.
The computer is mainly going to be used for music production and I will be using an Apogee Duet as the audio interface which is connected via USB.
Spec
CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor
Cooler: Thermaltake CLP0534 22.35 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI ATX LGA1151
Memory - Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Storage: 2 x Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
1 x Samsung 860 Evo 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
1 x Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 580 8 GB PULSE
Case: be quiet! Dark Base 700 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power: Corsair RMx 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
I would really appreciate it if anyone could just let me know if they think this build will be stable in it's current form before I pull the trigger and buy it all.
Thanks in advance.
