Hi!
This is my first entry of tonymacx86.com, and I am in the middle of my plans for my first Hackintosh hybrid!
My goal is to have one HDD for Windows7 and one for OS X (is that even possible..?!). I want to play games on Win7 and run Logic Pro X and Final Cut Pro X-ish programs in OS X. This is my build:
( --->Here is a link to all my parts<--- )
- DDR: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz (CML8GX3M2A1600C9) (2x4GB)
- Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Pearl Black
- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H - ATX / Intel Z87
- Graphic card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB (GV-N760OC-2GD (REV. 2.0))
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 - 8 trådar / 3,4GHz (3,9GHz Turbo) / 8MB / Socket 1150
- CPU cooler: SilverStone Argon CPU cooler SST-AR01
- SSD: Samsung 840 Series SSD 250GB SATA3 Basic Kit (MZ-7TD250BW)
- HDD1: Seagate Intern Hårddisk Barracuda 1TB (Cache 64MB / 7200RPM / Sata 6Gb/s)
- HDD2: Seagate Intern Hårddisk Barracuda 2TB (64MB / 7200RPM)
- PSU: be quiet! PowerSupply (PSU) Pure Power L8 630W Modular
Is this build good enough, and is everything compatible? Is it worth to go Haswell?
I am thankful for all advices and tips!
