They will both give a monitor 1920 x 1080 resolution, so it comes down to which one connects easiest. DVI-D has screw in connections to prevent the cable from falling out of the monitor, that being said the HDMI connects with less fiddling. Personal preference really, no performance difference between the two

ALC662 is a problem, head over to : http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/96145-realtek-alc662-10-8-3-a.html and post a new thread. You should clearly state your mother board make and model, OSX version and ask for pointers there.

Another option would be to add a cheep USB audio dongle to solve the problem, see this thread : http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/98115-simple-plug-n-play-usb-audio-device-os-x.html

Can I replace my sound card to ALC892???

Your ALC662 is on the motherboard or a separate sound card?

I have been doing a little checking. Are you using a Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard, if so your onboard audio is ALC889. There are two revisions of this board Rev 1.0 and Rev 1.3 - the audio chip is the same on both..

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3973#sp

For how to solve see here : http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/680...tibeast-5-0-2-reboot-ga-z68x-ud3h-b3-f12.html

and here (you posted here earlier) : http://www.tonymacx86.com/os-x-upda...ound-disappears-z68x-ud3h-b3-motherboard.html

You need to check your folders and remove any texts that should not be there and reinstall the correct ones.

One one thing to take care of
WIFI

I tried on my on own , and this is how far i have come

i have D-LINK DWA 110 USB Wireless Dongle(Rev A) , That is supposed to work with Mac but it doesn't for me .http://www.dlink.com.au/tech/download/download.aspx?product=DWA-110&revision=REV_A&filetype=Drivers
After a bit of searching i have come to conclusion that it is actually Ralink Chip inside and Since ralink and mediatek have joined so drivers are availaible here
http://www.mediatek.com/_en/07_downloads/01_windows.php?sn=502

I dont know which chipset DWA-110 has i think 257x but i am not sure , i have installed all of them and none works for me on ML
Do i need to remove a driver before installing other one ???
As i tried all the drivers but none works for me , i do see a new Ethernet connection though

RT2870 seams to be the general consensus. Yes you will need to remove all other drivers. Otherwise it will not work.

Any of the GB Z77 boards in the Buyer's guide should work. Read some of the posts about peoples'
experiences with them in the User / Golden builds.
