Hey,

I'm making a computer that will dual boot Windows 7/8 and Mountain Lion...
The specs are below, but i have a problem in that I want to get a 7970 for gaming on Windows, but I know it isn't compatible with OSX.
The HD4000 in the CPU is though, so I was wondering if it is possible to ignore the 7970 in OSX and just use the HD4000?
Also, if you see anything in the specs that is incompatible please tell me :)

Thanks in advance,

I think you will have to take it out the card if you want to boot into OS X. Or always enable and disable the iGPU in the BIOS.

Your choosen board has unsupported audio and the optical drive probably will cause you sleep issues.

The 7xxx cards are not even supported. Why purchase the card if he/she cannot use it in OS X?

Because he/she wants to use the HD4000 on the Mac side and the HD7970 on Windows.

My eyes just glossed over all of the info at the top.

Take a nap.:lol::mrgreen:
