I think the time has come!

i7-6700K 4.0GHz
Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3
Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5"
NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case
Crucial Ballistix Sport 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Corsair CXM 650W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
TP-Link TL-WDN4800 PCI-Express x1 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter

What am I using this machine for?
I'm a web developer. Lots of VMs, Chrome tabs, video call meetings, terminal and Sublime Text. No games, no audio/video editing. I use Lightroom a bit, but that's my only real heavily used graphics app.

Priorities? (in order)
1. Ease of setup and maintenance
2. Performance
3. I want it to be as quiet as possible
4. Cost

No Video card?!
Conspicuously absent from above is a video card. Do I need one? I keep getting conflicting opinions here. I wont be doing any gaming at all on this. 0. Also no Photoshop stuff, no video editing, etc... That said, if it's a good idea to put one in for ease of use or whatever other reasons, I'll get one. Happy to take other's advice there.

Lingering Questions:

1.
Should I buy the HackintoshMethod recommended USB audio and bluetooth adaptors?
2. Any webcam suggestions?

Many thanks for the advice!

Conspicuously absent from above is a video card
and a Motherboard too.

Would be a good idea to include a Z170 mainboard in your hardware list.
You should be able to use the onboard audio. ALC 1150 is the best choice.
You can get a Mac compatible Wifi/BT PCIe solution and forget about the
TP-Link adapter. It's a much better solution and gives you the option of
using continuity and handoff.

Doh! Forgot the board in my original post. Updated to the Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3. Thanks!

Would love to see what people are using for wifi/BT. I see a bunch out there, want to make sure I note the right one.

Also: anyone got any reservations on going without the video card?

Well, then I'd rather look for am Motherboard with DisplayPort. I personally hate HDMI because I had issues with HDMI (high resolution not possible via HDMI despite being within specs). I never hat any issues with DisplayPort.
