First Build help - buying advice for a Video Editing machine

Hi, I am new to this site and have read many posts before asking this ? to Going Bald:

Please the parts list for my current Windows based PC
1- P6T deluxe V2
2- I7 920 CPU
3- 285 GTX Nvidia GPU [BFG Tech]
4- 6 Gig of Ram DDR3 Tripple channel Corsair Dominator
5- Corsair HX 1000W PSU

How can set this to run maverick or Yosemite.

So are they good results? Does it seem like everything is performing as it should? One thing I noticed is that Geekbench says my RAM is 0mhz, 'about this mac' says 1333mhz though so I guess it's okay...
