First Build Ever - Using GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (Rev1.3)
Hey all,
I've been finding lost of useful information on here so thank you for that. The one hesitation I have with powering up my rig is deciding on which setup I should run on this Mobo. Should I go straight for the UEFI setup or stick with F12 for the BIOS when installing 10.8.2?
I don't have a way to dual boot and I wasn't initially planning on it. I bring that up since the only way to go back to F12 from UEFI is with a Windows boot (as far as I've found). Any input would be appreciated.
Here is my whole build in case there is any more advice you can share with the new guy:
GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (Rev1.3)
i7-2600K
Vengence 4x4 DDR3
1GB GTX 570HD
Samsung 830 128GB SSD (Boot drive)
WD Black 1TB
Cosair 750W
If some of these parts seem a little dated it's bc I made my first parts purchases over a year ago. Finally had enough extra cash to get the rest recently.
