First Aid on Device Partition Fails (?)

Running Disk Utility First Aid on either of two SSD storage devices (in the same Skylake computer) returns a "partition" failure message. But First Aid run on the containers and volumes in those devices returns normal happy results. The disks were recently updated from Big Sur to Monterey 12.6 using Software Update. The error message(s) warn that perhaps the SSDs need to be re-formatted. The disks are Samsung 850 SSDs, 250 GB. Bootloader is OpenCore 0.8.4.

Why should I believe this? Operation using either SSD seems normal on Monterey 12.6.
