The last update to the BIOS was made last year August. I would say its safe to say that I have the latest firmware. But, I will check it anyway.

32 bit is only setting the upper memory limit kernel.

Ok, well. I do use programs that are able to go over the 32 bit Kernel limit. So, using the 64 bit Kernel would definitely benefit.
Found the BIOS version now, to get the install done. Getting to it this weekend, we will see.

Ok, wonderful news to all of this community.

This project is fully finished. Mucho thanks to hacman, eelhead, baruy, MacMan, and of course TonyMAC. Its finally fully up and running. It sleeps, wakes, has internet, sound, FireWire, eSata, etc.........

Here is what I did to get everything working correctly. If anyone else embarks on this journey.

Install your OS then your OS update.
Run MultiBeast with these options. NOTE: You may have to install some more then once.

System Utilities
ALC8xxHDA+AppleHDA Rollback+Non-DSDT HDAEnabler/ALC889
FakeSMC
FakeSMC Plugins
Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx Ethernet
64-bit Apple Boot Screen
OSx86 Software - All 4 of them.

I am so glad to finally start moving forward and using this machine for what it was meant to be a wonderful editing machine. Woo ho!!!

Thanks again to everyone. I am now moving onto overclocking it a little bit. I wonder if I will be able to reach my goal of 3.2Ghz and be stable.
