Hi,
I have been using a Hackintosh for several years now (specs below). I have recently done a fresh install of Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.5). I installed Final Cut Pro X onto the machine, at which point I noticed something odd. On this machine, FCP only uses one of the computer's 12 threads, but it is using that thread at 100%, meaning that FCPX will sometimes lock up, especially when playing or scrubbing through 4K video. I have a hunch that it is because of the cpus=1 boot flag, but that flag is necessary for the machine to boot, so I cannot do without it. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if they have a solution to this issue.
Thanks
