Fcpx work station

Guys Im a newbie
I want to have a pro workstation for video editing, FcpX...
I have a good friend who know how to build hackintosh but I wont to know your opinion...
What are best video cards, cpu etc.. this is what is he suggesting... any build for pro editing under FcpX

Any advice would be appreciated

Look at the CustoMac Pro build in the Buyer's Guide and the list of new AMD graphics cards as well.

Pick the best AMD card that can fit your budget.

If you choose an X299 system you'll spend more time reading the forums here to find solutions to problems than you will editing video. Many pros edit video on a MacBook Pro with much lower specs than an I7-8700K hackintosh has. CustoMac Pro can get the job done with enough ram and a good AMD graphics card.

That is my opinion, may not hold true for more advanced/experienced hackintoshers. The choice is up to you.
