I am getting an occasional stutter in Final Cut Pro X 10.4, both in video exported and the preview in the editor.
The stutter is present on the Hackintosh, but not my MacBook Pro.
Any ideas why?

Example: https://streamable.com/h39xv (right at the start of the video)

The raw video files are copied on import to an SSD.
My hardware: i5 3570k, AMD 7950 3GB, 16GB RAM, AsRock Z77 Extreme 4 mobo

You need to give me way more info if you need help. What's the original video codec? Resolution? Exported codec? Stabilization in post? Preview codecs?

Hi al-ec, thanks for the reply

The original codec is H.264, 3840x2160 resolution.
I am also exporting in H.264 and the same resolution.
I am not sure what FCPX uses as the preview codec.
No stabilisation.

I just import the video, and play, and the stutter is there, but if I play the original file with QuickTime, there is no stutter.
Also, the stutter isn't in the same place all the time when previewing.
