Hi everyone!
Just have built my first custoMac two weeks ago. Today noticed that when rendering a video in Final Cut, iStat shows that GPU has no significant raise in load, so it seems to work just as usual and all the rendering is handled by CPU only. So the question is if that's okay (I've read that AMD chips are supported natively in Mac OS because of being installed to iMacs so FCPX can use the hardware most efficient) or there can be something tweaked to make the app use the full power of the PC?
Thanks!
