FCPX graphic card question

I have a GA-Z77X-UD5H. I know that FCPX will NOT run well with this board and the Radeon 560-580 cards.

Does anyone know if FCPX will run on this mobo with a -VEGA- card ? Specifically the XFX AMD Radeon RX VEGA 56?

(I can't upgrade to Mojave with my Nvidia card, nor can I run the current XCode under 10.13. So I need 10.14, and I'm just trying to avoid trashing my setup and spending $2K... If Apple would just get over its weird issues with Nvidia, this would all be simple...)

I ran a single and later dual Sapphire Dual X 7970's on that board for quite a while under Sierra. Very easy cards for my hack.

I also tried a 580 and had pure trouble. Went back to the dual 7970's.
