What is yours? I would have to say mine is the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P.

Mine is a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R with an Intel Q6600 Quad Core CPU.

I was pleased that I could install Mavericks 10.9.5 with little or no issues using the current UniBeast and MultiBeast and a DSDT form the data base.

Good modding,
neil

PS Edit 10/17/2014

Just a note that I was pleased to get Yosemite to run on the EP45 with no issues. I am thinking of putting this board back into a case as it now resides on my test stand or in its' original box.

I was a real fan of the P55M-UD2, as it made an excellent hack, it had a working Firewire port (when that still mattered) and mine had a 1st gen i7 cpu. Since it was an mATX it was easy to install in a nice small and quiet case.

I am a bit nostalgic about it as I just rotated it out in favour of a new Z97 build.

Nice topic :)

Of the really really old boards I've owned would be either an Epox Socket A or DFI Socket 939 motherboard from back in the day:

Best motherboard I ever owned was an Abit IP35 board, which at the time clocked better than my X38 board from what I can remember...

Be prepared, we're going way back for this one.

Mine is the Abit KT7A. The Athlon XP proc over clocked another 300 MHz to make a 1.33 GHz processor. Probably the most stable OC ever. Also forayed into RAM overclocking, but let's not get into that.

The most awesome thing about it was being able to install and run Tiger (that version compiled for the very first Mac Pros). It wasn't all that stable, but it did browse the web nicely.

Think hands down it was the abit ip35 pro. Got insane over clocks on air out of it and it hacked with the best of them. Other notables that still hack perfectly and are hanging around past their "normal" lifespan are the GA-EP45-DQ6 and GA-X58A-UD5.
