Might be a good idea to add that when resetting the ec, it will reset your dvmt pre alloc to stock.

Usually BIOS settings will reset only if you remove or disconnect the CMOS battery.

I am trying to make the i2c driver of the laptop work. I have patched the dsdt with I2C Controllers (SKL), GPIO Controller Enable (SKL +) and Windows 10 Patch of the voodooi2c repository. This is what I think I need to run the trackpad and the touch screen (which I think use the same driver). Thanks.

@RehabMan just asking this for my knowledge, If a Nvidia GPU is hardwired to the HDMI port, we can get it working under macOS after installing the web drivers and removing the fake properties or ACPI patches, right?

Coz lately all the new laptops (gaming) with 10 series graphic cards seem to have HDMI tied solely to dGPU stead of iGPU.

Maybe.
Check in Windows to verify dedicated connection to HDMI.

I am facing a peculiar issue:
I am trying to install 10.13.0 on my laptop Toshiba Portege R930. After installation (used multibeast) but my system is not booting from internal hard disk. Using UEFI mode. it boots clover from usb but not from harddisk. created the bootable usb with unibeast. Any help??

Hint: Unibeast/Multibeast not generally used for laptops as they tend to have desktop solutions only.

the trackpad (elan1203) its not working, i edited the io name match inside voodooi2c (v2.2 asus ed.),to match the pci8086,a368 and a369 (a369 have the etpd showing its name) now it attach to the i2c pci , but still not working at all
