Then Darkvoid should remove this line in the compatibility list:
Broadcom NetLink BCM57780 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe [14e4:1692]

The device id's I added are an educated guess, since obviously I do not have all these devices to test.
So it could be possible to either your device does not work, or that I did not add devices which are supported.

Its trial and error for every user. However with feedback like yours we can update the list more precisely.

Thanks frostxx, Updated first post with your feedback.

No dice...
I added this ID but it failed to work ... it showed up as a device however it reported cable unplugged and therefore was unable to obtain an IP address. I then attempted to manually specify the cable type and duplex settings however that just locked up system preferences to the point where it disabled my USB keyboard until I was able to kill it via Activity Monitor.

This device does work fine with BCM5722D.kext fwiw.
Code:
04:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5722 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express [14e4:165a]

Removing 14e4:165a and 14e4:1692 from the compatibility list based on feedback.

Anyone know if there is a working kext for BC 5755 for 10.10.2? Worked with 5722D kext in Mavs but can't get it working in Yosemite. Just upgraded my graphics to geforce 750ti, and apparently yosemite supports that with web drivers, but useless if I can't get networking. I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place here, the networking works in Mavs, but the graphics aren't supported, but if I upgrade to Yosemite, networking not supported, but graphics will work - LOL :banghead:

Note: I did try both kext's attached to 1st post on a vanilla installation as a long shot, but no joy. The closest I've gotten is using the BCM5722D kext, which gives me ethernet connections in system prefs/network, but gives no cable connection.

What is the device ID of your device?
Does the driver in the first post make the network card show?

smertrios,

Try the attached kext, I added your device id 14e4:167b.
