Re-stating from my first post
4. System specifics where UniBeast was run including hardware configuration and macOS version. OSX 10.10.5 Processor 3.5Ghz Intel core i3. 8gb ram. Intel HD Graphics 4600 1536mb. Mac Mini (mid 2011)

It is not a Mac Pro, it is Hackintosh which started from snow leopard but is now on Yosemite. In the about window it says Mac Mini (mid 2011)

Try changing the sysdef to iMac 14,2 as that's a better fit for the graphics you're using. With that system def. you are eligible to download from the MAS. Delete the old installer, empty trash and then try with the newly downloaded installer.

Your install log says that it's a Mac Pro system for some reason. Maybe you changed the SMBIOS later on to Mac mini 5,1 and it didn't pick that up.

I updated SMBIOS and went via MAS route. Despite deleting old installer and emptying trash, it only downloads a 20mb file. How do I get the full version Unibeast needs?

Does this approach work for Catalina or only till High Sierra?

I've never needed to use it. Give it a try and find out. Report how it goes either here or in that thread.

I'll try now. Just one quick question that isnt totally clear from the documentation. Does the Unibeast version relate to the version of the OSX you are trying to get on a USB drive or to the version of the OSX you are running. I think its former but wanted to double check, since you are on online

@Nikinp

Relates to the version of the OSX you are trying to get on a USB drive.

OK. I took that approach and it replaced the 20mb installer with a 8.23gb installer (same size as the one I got from the gibos) but when I use Unibeast 10.1, I get the same error message. Log details here again:

  1. UniBeast version 10.1.1 Catalina
  2. UniBeast choices Destination select: USB 30.7GB partition. MacOS: Catalina. Bootloader configuration: UEFI Boot mode. Graphics: None selected
  3. USB partition scheme, GPT or MBR and size of the destination partition. GUID partition table. Partition size 31.7gb
  4. System specifics where UniBeast was run including hardware configuration and macOS version. OSX 10.10.5 Processor 3.5Ghz Intel core i3. 8gb ram. Intel HD Graphics 4600 1536mb. IMac 21.5 inch Late 2013
  5. Error message "Creation Failed. There was an error creating your UniBeast drive: Couldn't create USB installer"

I note that having update SMBIOS with multibeast to 14.2 the about screen shows machine as imac (21.5 inch late 2013) but install log shows Nikins-Mac-Pro. I dont know if this is significant to cause this issue?
