I don't see any mention of SIP so far, did you disable it on the machine that you are using to create your UniBeast installer ?

I thought SIP was only relevant if you are creating Catalina usb using Catalina OS (I am on Yosemite)

That's correct, disregard SIP in that case.

Have you tried using the 'createinstallmedia' command that Apple offers ?

See if that works. Then you can manually install Clover bootloader for Catalina. It's very easy to do.

Should I pay attention to this note on the Apple page:
Important: To get the correct installer, download from a Mac that is using macOS Sierra 10.12.5 or later, or El Capitan 10.11.6.

I am running Yosemite...

Tried your suggestion from the apple page. See below for command and failure output

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath
Password:

The parameter --applicationpath is not valid for Catalina createmedia.

The correct command is:

Code:
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --nointeraction

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --nointeraction
sudo: /Applications/Install macOS Catalina/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia: command not found

Then tried including .app after Catalina with this response:
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --nointeraction
dyld: Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Frameworks/IAESD.framework/Versions/A/IAESD

Following. I'm having the exact same issue. I used the gibmacos approach too, and I'm running 10.10.3 Yosemite on this PC (P55A-UD4).
I tried multiple times, with different USB sticks, plugged into different USB ports.
I tried building again the .app package..
Maybe, if I install a little older version, it might work?
Otherwise I was thinking to try and change the smbios.list to make the system "younger", and then download from the app store..
Thanks a lot in advance for your help
