Failed install Yosemite at T440p

Installation steps:
1. create new partition on same disk with mavericks
2. download yosemite via appstore
3. double click install yosemite at mavericks and reboot

freeze on booting:

Looks like you need to inject FakeSMC.kext

"Waiting for DSMOS" without a corresponding "DSMOS has arrived" implies that FakeSMC is missing.

I've installed it already. I have to add boot arg -v to make it boot successfully. And I followed https://pikeralpha.wordpress.com/2014/09/10/experimental-bin-patch-for-hd4600-mobile-gt2/, failed. I've tried this twice, all failed. How to make my HD4600 work??

-v only causes verbose messages to be displayed. It should not affect boot/no boot...

I also think so. but the true is out of image. if lost -v, i can't boot successfully. it's minor. would you help me fix hd4600??

HD4600 (mobile) is not directly supported in Yosemite. See Pike's blog for the way to enable it: https://pikeralpha.wordpress.com/2014/09/10/experimental-bin-patch-for-hd4600-mobile-gt2/
