After a fresh installation of High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G11023) on my formatted SSD everything looks fine, except the system is really slow. Sometimes it takes seconds to open a finder window. The Hackintosh recognize my 6-Core Intel Xeon and GTX 980 Ti as normal. The APFS partition of the SSD looks ok, and the latest Nvidia drivers are installed (387.10.10.10.40.134). What is going on?

Here my config:

Thanks for your quick reply. It is an older Samsung EVO model. Can look more detailed for you tomorrow.

Have you opened up Activity monitor? see if there is anything using a huge portion of your CPU.

Turns out I just had to clean up my EFI folder (drivers64UEFI and kexts files) en config.file, cause I didn't start from scratch with a downloaded EFI. I also added OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi and now everything works like a charm :)
