Hello Fellow Hackintoshers!

I'm at the end of my rope here and have exhausted all my resources! I've googled more times than I care to count and just can't seem to figure this out. I have a full new build (This is my 3rd) and everything seems to be functioning except it won't shut down, instead it just restarts and tells me the picture below about shutting it down because of a problem. This screen comes up every time I start the hackintosh as well. Before we get too far down the rabbit hole let me explain what I've done so far:

Troubleshooting (EFI Folder Attached):
  1. Checked all Bios setting
  2. Updated Bios
  3. Checked all guides similar to mine and tried those settings
  4. Tried replacing all Kexts with fully updated ones
  5. Tried the FixShutdown option
  6. Reinstalled Clover
  7. Redid the whole SMBIOS
  8. And plenty of other fixes
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it was something small that I overlooked but I'm shooting for a Hail Mary here lol The only other things I have noticed it is takes about 10 seconds for clover to start up after the BIOS screen which is odd and at log in screen it takes about 4 seconds before the keyboard is recognized. Thats it but small quirky things here and there are to be expected, its a hackintosh.

Build Information:
  1. OSX High Sierra 10.13.6 (I chose this because of my 1080)
  2. Dell 4k Monitor 60Hz
  3. Dell 2k Monitor 144Hz G-Sync
  4. EVGA 1080 TI SC2 Black Edition
  5. Intel i7-8700k Coffee Lake
  6. Samsung 1TB 860 Evo (This is my Windows Install)
  7. Toshiba M.2 SSD (This is where the EFI and Mac Install is)
  8. Cooler Master Hyper RR-212 LED CPU Cooler
  9. ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero
  10. G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2x16) DDR4 Ram
  11. Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Tempered glass window chassis
  12. Corsair 750 power supply
  13. Logitech G633 Headphones
  14. Logitech G603 Wireless mouse
  15. Corsair K55 Keyboard
  16. Creative Lab 5.1 Surround Sound
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you and have a great day!

Please read and comply with the rules, in particular the one regarding profiles.
Link to profile - Just three items - Motherboard (or prebuilt system), Processor (CPU) and Graphics.

NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext is deprecated - Now part of WhateverGreen.kext.
Lilu.kext, WhateverGreen.kext and AppleALC.kext are old and should be updated.

With Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext you should not need anything graphics related in your config.plist except for enabling NvidiaWeb.
So delete FakeID for IntelGFX 0x12345678 and do not Inject Intel graphics.
No need to Load VBios.

I was JUST updating my Profile when I got this :)

Those are some great points to clean up the config and the Kexts so I will implement those. Do you think that could be the source of the boot problem though? Also I injected Intel graphics in hopes that my dual monitors would function correctly ( one connected to dedicated and one to integrated) but I was unsuccessful with that so I just connected them both to the 1080.

You should look at the report to see what is causing your shutdown problem.

You should look at the report to see what is causing your shutdown problem.

Alright well on a whim I changed which USB port my headphones were plugged into and updated the kexts with the following results.

  1. Found out I needed the Intel information in there and the NvideaGraphicsFixup in order to stop clover from hanging for an extra 20 seconds on, "IGPU Graphics driver failed to load"
  2. Computer Shuts down now
  3. Clover still takes 10 seconds to load
  4. Keyboard still hangs
  5. Moved the Headphones to a different USB port and it stays shut down now.... IDK why
  6. Still shows me the error when it boots up though with the same problem report.
I'll be happy if I can just get past the report popping up so I have a perfect install lol :)

Attached is the updated EFI. All updated kexts gathered from Tonymacx86 website.

So much wrong here.
You are booting with nv_disable=1 which prevents the Nvidia drivers from loading.
As stated previously NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext is deprecated and of course relates to the graphics card not the integrated graphics.
Your Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext have been updated on your EFI partition but you have duplicates in /Library/Extensions which are a different version.
Decide if you want to inject kexts from Clover or load them from /Library/Extensions.
If you want to inject kexts from Clover you should remove the duplicates from /Library/Extensions.
Your build number is 17G66 which people have struggled with to find matching web drivers.
Your kernel panic appears to be USB related so I would suggest disconnecting all of your USB peripherals and then reattaching them one at a time in order to discover the culprit.
Also follow this guide to correctly configure your USB ports :
Your config.plist still has FakeID IntelGFX 0x12345678 which adversely affects your integrated graphics.
Likewise injecting Intel graphics will prevent their drivers from loading.
iMac18,3 may not be the best choice of SMBIOS, it had AMD graphics.

@speedscater1 & @P1LGRIM,

It's also worth pointing out that the use of NvidiaGraphicsFixup in-conjunction with Lilu and WEG is almost guaranteed to cause issues as stated in the Acidanthera git-hub documentation and the Lilu + Plugins guide here at TMx86.

The Lilu + Plug-in's guide said:
Important: It should be noted that as of July 2019 all of the above plug-in's are depreciated and are no longer supported. Use of them in conjunction with WhatEverGreen or the current version of Lilu could result in Kernel Panics or abnormal MacOS behaviour.

Cheers
Jay
