I've followed this guide to a T and with:

- latest nvidia webdrivers for 10.11.4
- an EVGA GT 740 SC (the one suggested in the March CustoMac Mini Deluxe build)
- nvda_drv=1 boot flag

- I can't set the resolution to the its native monitor resolution, it should be 2560x1440 but it's only 2048x1152 with the mini-hdmi to hdmi cable
- I get glitches at login screen and HTML5 videos playback:

what I'm I doing wrong? Should I exchange the card for a more compatible one?

I still have to deal with full resolution with the GT 740, but unfortunately I disabled the IGFX in the UEFI, I disabled Inject Intel and I still have fuzzy glitches at the login screen. But I must stay that HTML5 video playback is now fine.

I even uninstalled web drivers, removed the card, set Inject Intel and re-enabled the IGFX in the bios to try if I had the same issues with the integrated graphics and... I have the EXACT same problems with low resolution and fuzzy login background
