Hi, I just switched from HD 4600 to this nvidia graphic card and I am having some problems. Monitor goes to sleep at the end of the boot sequence if not using nv_disable=1. I tried to fix this by installing http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/96651/en-us but it is not able to fix the problem, so I uninstalled it.

Many GDDR5 GT 740s require the Nvidia web drivers you installed. You must use the boot flag nvda_drv=1 to use them.

What system profile are you using?

I switched from iMac 15 to iMac 14,2, then I installed the web drivers and everything works great apart from some weird problem with videos

I just fixed it, but now i can not fix the problem mentioned before...

Then go back to 14,2. It is just easier and most people run it versus 15,1.
