Yes man, it's working with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and npci=0x2000 (or maybe PCIRootUID=1)
There is no need kexts. I have this card, its working, but sometimes freezes with NVDA(OpenGL): Channel exception!

Hello, I know this is a somewhat old thread but I was wondering if you could help out?
my aunt wanted a fairly cheap system so I built her a system consisting of an Ivy Bridge Celeron, a Gigabyte B75 motherboard, and an EVGA 1GB Gt210

I got QE/CL working and the installer screen working with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and PCIRootUID=0

However once at the login screen the mouse and keyboard freeze for about 5 minutes. They're both plugged in through the back USB2 ports so I ruled that out. The OS works fine as well because it will auto launch the last opened apps if I enable auto login.

Have you experienced such issues?

Hey csabirobert,
this graphics card works with QE/CL on my OSX 10.7.2 machine* only with booting parameter "-x". Without the "-x" is hangs up at this point and the output looks terrible .. pls refer screenshot. The card is connected by VGA (D-Sub) to the monitor and my Boot.plist in Extra folder looks like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>Boot Graphics</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>
<key>Quiet Boot</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>npci</key>
<string>0x2000</string>
</dict>
</plist>

What am I doing wrong? I've also tested "PCIRootUID=0 and 1". Then OSX won't start at all. Pls help !!
Thx so much in advance.

You just said it. VGA (D-Sub) doesn't work properly - Use DVI / HDMI / Display Port

Hi Going Bald,
thx 4 your quick respond. As U recommended, I now tried with DVI and a TFT Flatscreen. Still displays junk without "-x" (Pls refer attached photo). Now I cannot even see the verbose text ... I think the PCI(E) handling in bootloader causes this problem. Is there anything wrong with my "org.chameleon.Boot.plist" mentioned above? Or must I use NVenabler64.kext or any other? And one correction: The MB is not a Gigabyte, it's an ASUS P5G41-M LX.
Many thx.

add to o.c.b.plist

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32</string>

if 1920x1980 is not your screen resolution, change to your screen resolution

Edited string to the native resolutions of my monitor (1280x1024x32). Same weird drawings on the display. The HDD LED is permanently flickering and I can hear the HDD working on and on, but nothing else happens. I turned off the computer after 15 minutes. The last line in "-v" mode I could read is [PCI configuration begin]. I am absolutely helpless :( Thx Going Bald.

You might or might not get this old of hardware to run Mountain Lion. Best to get new hardware. In any case, if having problems installing ML you need to post in Mountain Lion Desktop Spport forum and not in Buying Advice.
