Ethernet problems on Asus Prime Z490-A (Opencore 0.6.2, macOS 10.15.7)

I have a different board but has the same intel i225-v and it works but has a connection issue. keep going in and out.
I was searching on the web and found out that i225-v having a lot of issues. Does anyone having a connection issue here??

it's widespread
& seems to cut across different brands & models
the smart manufacturers seem to adopt different ethernet providers

i think we dont hear much bcoz more users/owners rely on wifi

it's a hardware problem. exchange your mobo. asus fixed it at later revision board.
 
hey was the Ethernet issue resolved? I’m having the same issue.
 
I am also having this issue with I225-v I need it working.
 
same issue that it keeps going out? or does it not work at all?
I cant get it to show up at all. This is the ethernet config I have in my config.plist

make sure to add the device-id for this entry with a value of:
F2150000
and don't forget to add fakepci + fakepci-intel-i225 it was needed for me.
then it should work.

I just added the device ID and I have both of those kexts. After rebooting it is still not showing up.

Here is a screenshot of my kext's and my config file.

I know the NIC is working in windows so its not faulty.

according to dortania and my config. the device-id should be set to DATA, not string.
Did you check dortania website for documentation?
