Ethernet for z270 ASUS hackntosh

I'm having trouble with getting my hackintosh to detect the ethernet what should I do?

You do not mention which ASUS motherboard you have and what ethernet adapter it is using.

If it is Intel I219-V,
Make sure you have the IntelMausi ethernet kext in Clover/kexts/other folder.

The kext works directly. No patching or fakeID is required. I have ASUS Z270 IX Hero and the above kext works flawlessly on Sierra 10.12.3

I have ASUS Z270 IX Hero too. Does your ethernet adapter work? About audio, etc?

Ethernet works perfectly. HDMI audio works with HDMIAudio kext. But you need a compatible Nvidia GPU with working drivers for HDMI kext to work. I have not used any AMD GPU.
I disable realtek onboard audio.
