ATX is great if you need the 7 slots and extra headers, but if you can live without all that, the mATX solution is terrific for G5 builds. Either way these projects are a lot of fun and a great challenge to try and create something truly unique.

The fans are hooked up to the 12V, and the sound recorder is hooked up to the 5V - so yeah, all into one sata connector

But the beauty of case modding is you can do what you like......and that is perfectly legit and probably one of the most rewarding pastimes out there (well, that's just my opinion of course...).
