Error when booting from USB

So the current situation is:

OS installed OK and all was well up until I used Multibeast.
I've gone through all the settings and, graphics card notwithstanding, installed all the correct kexts.

Now I can boot from the USB and the HD but keyboard and mouse doesn't work, the lights go out just as the Apple Logo appears.

Even booting from Clover, which worked before now doesn't in the fact that the keyboard mouse dies t work.

I've made sure that usbinjectall.kext, xhci-300-series kext and the voodoo ps2 kext are in other but still no luck.

I’ve also tried usb hubs. Anybody suggest anything else.

My next step is to install windows which I really don’t want to do.

So I've dug around online and this is what I'm trying next:

I have a serial to USB adapter - if I enable Serial in BIOS, could that work?

Is USB3 the issue - I can live without it so pull the cables inside?

When the Mac started after installation (before Multibeast), it said it couldn't recognise the keyboard and to press a specific key to recognise it - could that be an issue and if I start over and plug in an Apple keyboard it may work?

Delete AppleHPET.kext

If I start over and before running multicast I run a Logitech installer for the keyboard would that work?

Last resort - Program new kext.
I really don't want to do this unless I have to, it's a lot of work for potentially it still not working.

If anyone can shed any light on the issue it will help me narrow down the problem.
