Article: Enabling HD 3000 graphics on 7-series motherboards, and HD 4000 on 6-series motherboards

Hi Tony I think you wrote this wrong

Nope- this guide is for mismatched systems. Not correctly matched ie, Sandy Bridge CPU + Z68 board. Only for incorrectly matched ie, Sandy Bridge CPU + Z77 board.

;)

I had this same problem a month ago when using a 2500k with the z77-ud5h; I have it running stable now for a few weeks after installing a sb graphics enabler kext I found online and its been good so far to me but this sounds a lot better to use for native support; i highly recommend putting this in the next multibeast

didn't work for me, still 64mb shared ram, artefacts and sleep failed to work

The changing ID must be doing something, as I just tried it even I use HD5770, so I enabled HD3000 in BIOS, set AUTO in init graphic and booted, got a black screen indicating HD3000 started first, so I had to disable the HD3000 and rebooted again to get here.

Works for me! Z77X-UP4 TH with 2500K.

Airplay also works.

I use a SB 2500k with an Intel DH77DF Mini-ITX board (H77 chipset). I edited the kexts, then turned GraphicsEnabler=Yes in the chameleon boot.plist and rebooted and I can now use the accelerated graphics. I think it would be helpful to slap this into multi beast. Thank you.
