Any ideas? How?

TIA!

Im no expert. But from what I understand... if your software supports/incorporates OpenCL, and your video card supports OpenCL then you're "good to go". It has to be both the application and the graphics card.

Please correct me if Im wrong or if Im missing something!

Must resist face palming....

OK, looks like you're trying to enable open CL for premiere or after effects. (or actually cuda but open cl would work too)
Google adobe cuda hack. Pretty much you just add GeForce GTX 760 to a .txt file.

It's easy, I do it all the time.

These are the GPUs capable. But I wanted to unlock the OpenCL feature on GTX 760.

There are also Radeon graphics cards which support OpenCL... all Radeon HD 7xxx series support OpenCL + others as well.

But the problem is.. my hackintosh won't display the correct name of my current GPU. Did I miss something?

Simple, add GK104 to the .txt

I have a 770, worked for me. You're on 10.8.5 i'm guessing? 10.8.4 posted my card correctly, but 10.8.5, not so much.

Don't try to sell people on other cards when they just got one. Radeon can suck it!

Wasnt trying to sell anyone on anything. Someone posted this and I replied to it:

I then added: There are also Radeon graphics cards which support OpenCL... all Radeon HD 7xxx series support OpenCL + others as well. Again I wasnt trying to sell anyone on anything, just posting some additional info which might have helped. That was my intent... to help.

Why can Radeon suck it? They are less than 1/3 the price of NVIDIA. I do not understand.

Look at these "specs":
9GB RAM 384 bit for $600 (Radeon)
-vs-
3GB RAM 384 bit for $669.99 (NVIDIA)

I was comparing one NVIDIA card to three Radeon (7950's). For $70 less you can get three Radeon 7950's which are 384 bit and have 3GB DDR5 RAM each vs one NVIDIA card 384 bit 3GB DDR5 RAM for three times as much plus an additional $70.

?

Have I overlooked something?

Hey I know it's over a year later, I was just playing. Sorry didn't mean to be a dick.
