Hi guys,
My system is as follows:
Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 TH motherboard
i7 6700k Skylake processor
32gb Crucial 2400 DDR4 Memory
Samsung 250gb ssd
EVGA Nvidia GeForce GT 740 Video Card
I have successfully installed El Capitan 10.11.3 on my hackintosh, but have two minor problems:
1) Computer powers on with the movement of mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard after shutting down the computer. I doubled checked my bios settings and had all of these disabled but it still powers on. Also Loaded the config.plist file with Clover Configurator and checked FixShutdown.
2) When I went into bios to check my settings, I noticed a long listing of my UEFI OS X El Capitan boot drive in my boot menu as well as in my boot priorities menu. Not sure why this happens but maybe others have had the same issue. Will this list continue to grow every time I power on my computer? As of now, there are over 25 entries in this menus.
I have searched the forum for hours trying to find these similar situations, but was unable to find any. If anyone could direct me to the proper thread or posting with similar problems that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
