I made a Unibeast installer and on a USB stick formatted as GUID with UEFI (Non legacy installer).
The thumb drive boots but I get a Kernel Panic every time no matter what boot flags I use. I have tried npci=0x2000/3000, dart=0, maxmem=4096, -f, loading no kexts or caches...
Here is a screen shot of the kernel panic
(it's attached)
If anyone has experience installing El Capitan on this motherboard I would appreciate any assistance.
Thank you!
I did see this post on Forums about KP but I am not sure how to add a DSDT.aml. I have a working installation of Mountain Lion on that machine if that helps.
If it's a panic in a AppleUSBUHCIPCI.kext or AppleUSBXHCIPCI.kext:
Try adding a DSDT.aml to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/ if you have one
If it's an X58 chipset, try these settings in config.plist (the same may also work for P35 chipsets)
If it's an X79 chipset, try these boot arguments (how to add boot arguments)
If you have a third-party USB add-in card, try disabling or removing it
