That's weird. I make the move with QuickTime player in 10.11.6. Anyway, I attach a picture this time.

Seems like typical problem when you don't set DVMT-prealloc correctly.
What is DVMT-prealloc set to?

What is DVMT-prealloc set to?

In windows 10, 128MB, in MAC OS X, I use clover patch it to 128MB. But looks like no difference no matter patch or not

Tried this------------------------------
<dict>
<key>Comment</key>
<string>Enable 128MB DVMT-prealloc, 0x0a2e0008</string>
<key>Disabled</key>
<false/>
<key>Find</key>

<key>Name</key>
<string>AppleIntelFramebufferAzul</string>
<key>Replace</key>
<data>CAAuCgEDAwMAAAAI</data>

and this------------------------------

<string>Enable 128MB DVMT-prealloc, 48MB framebuffer, 48MB cursor, 0x0a2e0008</string>

<key>Name</key>
<string>AppleIntelFramebufferAzul</string>
<key>Replace</key>
<data>BgAmCgEDAwMAAAAIAAAAAwAAAAM=</data>
</dict>

also tried 96MB, 160MB, and 192MB. But didn't solve the problem. Any other guide to fix my own DVMT prealloc?

I think you forgot to read the FAQ.

IMPORTANT!: Contrary to many of the guides you will read, Windows is NOT a valid way to determine what DVMT-prealloc is set to. There is no correlation, especially with Windows 10.

Okay, I followed the guide,

But flicker screen problem after wake up still there. Anything I did wrong? I tried all the three Clover patched above but seems none of them work. I don't know where the 0x0a2e0008 and 0x0a260006 come from. Do I have to make my own clover patch?

I think you forgot to read the FAQ.

Okay, I did EFI shell setting again. I clearly saw the command "setup_var2 0x180 0x4" executed successfully. But when I reboot and run again. It failed:

....Offset 0x180 is pre set to 0x02 (64MB)
.... trying to set 0x180 to 0x04....
....Error: can't set variable using refi error: 0x0000000000008

What could be the problem? How do I reset 0x180 to 0x4?

Updated main post to add:

1) Sleep/wake support
2) Hi-DPI scale mode for the internal 2K screen. Recommend 1600 x1066 HiDPI resolution

Still trying to fix the DVMT pre-alloc problem. other then that. This laptop works great~

2) In EFI shell, run
setup_var2 0x180 0x4
(complete successfully from terminal output. setup_var won't work)

3) Patched IOKit
sudo perl -i.bak -pe 's|\xB8\x01\x00\x00\x00\xF6\xC1\x01\x0F\x85|\x33\xC0\x90\x90\x90\x90\x90\x90\x90\xE9|sg' /System/Library/Frameworks/IOKit.framework/Versions/Current/IOKit
sudo codesign -f -s - /System/Library/Frameworks/IOKit.framework/Versions/Current/IOKit

But flicker screen problem after wake up still there. Anything I did wrong? I tried all the three Clover patched above but seems none of them work. I don't know where the 0x0a2e0008 and 0x0a260006 come from. Do I have to make my own clover patch?

I don't know why you're patching AppleIntelFramebufferAzul. It is for Haswell... your profile indicates Skylake.

Your BIOS seems to lock the variables.
