El Capitan working perfectly. Lots of peripherals, all working (headphones, speakers, mic, webcam with mic, bluetooth, usb flash drives)

Used UniBeast 6.2.0/MultiBeast 8.2.3. After running MultiBeast, USB 2 ports on the back where the keyboard/mouse/webcam were stopped working.
Solved by switching ports, those ports are still not working tho..

ASMedia SATA/USB controllers are working.

Hi I was also able to install El Capitan on my Maximus V Gene mobo, I was just wondering what settings did you use when you installed MultiBeast because after i installed MultiBeast using these settings I am not able to use any usb port

i had the same problem, 3 of my usb 2 ports on the back where keyboard/mouse/webcam were jacked in stopped working after running multibeast. what i did was just jack the mouse/keyboard/webcam to other free ports

i am not sure what causes this problem tho, they worked just fine until i messed with multibeast

I just fixed most usb ports by enabling Intel xHCI in the BIOS, but I also have the same two non working usb ports.

If you install "3rd Party USB 3.0" all USB ports will function properly (I am also using Clover not Chameleon) !!!

i did install it, that enabled usb3 but those three usb2 ports didn't start working again

i had xhci enabled before installation, all ports were working just that 3 stopped after running multibeast
switched the ports and kbd/mouse/webcam worked

no issues whatsoever. clean retail installation works perfectly out of the box, i only experienced USB issues after running MultiBeast and the only ports that stopped working are those which were plugged in

i don't think my maximus v gene has an integrated wifi but still, my Chinese "EDUP" usb wifi worked

the ram was running at 1333mhz by default, sticks are hyperx predator 2400mhz

MultiBeast settings were:
audio: alc898
disk: 3rd party sata
misc: fakesmc
network: e1000e
boot: clover efi

my guess is, installing 3rd party SATA ( Asmedia usb 3.0 ) messes up jacked in USB 2.0 ports.. haven't messed with it since all i did was switch ports and they worked, i have more than i need anyways

hey guys, figured out a fix for usb not working
don't set any smbios options, if you already have edit /EFI/CLOVER/config.plist

successfully upgraded el capitan to sierra via store

installed latest clover
downloaded and upgraded
run latest multibeast
applied same settings as on el capitan
