Hi,

I need some help with my setup, yesterday I installed El Capitan and was able to login to the system and also install Multibeast. But after the reboot my computer keeps restarting. I was unable to input my password at the login screen without restarting.

I then decided to do a clean installation again, this time I just selected the Realtek ALCxxx > ALC1150 for the audio drivers while doing the multibeast installation. Restated my computer and went on another cycle of restating.

I was just able to login again. I don't have audio yet. Can someone help me pinpoint the drivers that I am missing? Thank you in advance!
:)

Setup:
-GA-Z97X-UD3H
-Core i7 4790K
-EVGA GT 740 SC
-Crucial Ballistix 16GB
-Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
-SEAGATE Barracuda 1TB
-Corsair RM 650
-Corsair Carbide 500R
-TP-Link PCI Express (N)

The computer keeps restarting, I am able to login every other time but is very unstable. When I try to shut it down it would freeze and then restart. When it does, I get a black screen with the shut down symbol. Is there a way to find the drivers for a specific build? Thank you

Newb here too. I have a similar setup but I have found a working setup.

First start a fresh install using this guide:

A - Follow his BIOS settings exactly

http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...-970-256gb-ssd-bcm94360cd-wifi-bluetooth.html

B - Use Multibeast (Not the Clover alternate post installation scripts.) A screenshot of Lewys' settings is post #16:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...8-screenshots-config-files-2.html#post1161427

C - Download the Clover Configurator ( http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=276 )

D - Make sure you install the Kernel and Kext Patches mentioned by Lewys in the forum link (A)

E - Install the latest Nvidia Driver. You will need to make sure your profile is temporarily set to Mac Pro 3,1. ( http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/...raphics-drivers-os-x-10-11-2-346-03-04-a.html )

E - Using Clover Configurator enable nvda_drv=1

I did have intermittent strange behavior playing H264 Video Files. I am currently experimenting with disabling built in intel graphics in the BIOS.

Best,

Thank you very much for your help kinotopia. I almost have everything working as it should :headbang:. My USB 3.0 ports are working like 2.0, they are very slow. I'm looking online to see how to fix it. Also, like you I'm having some problems playing some videos online. I added a screenshot below, is this the same issue that you have? Thank you!
