Hi,

I recently built a PC out of used components:

- Intel Desktop Board 01 (DH55TC)
- Intel Core i3-540
- Intel HD Graphics
- 8GB DDR3 RAM

I have to say I am a complete beginner. I successfully created a USB drive using Unibeast and Multibeast. I plugged it into my USB 2.0 port, ..., and booted Mac OS X from my USB drive. An Apple logo showed up with a loading bar under it. As it was filled completely, a white screen showed up for 10 minutes, after, the computer restarted. I found out you can start OS X in Verbose Mode. I got the same results. I took a few screenshots so hopefully someone can help me. I also tried Secure Mode and Single User Mode.

Thanks for help,
Erik

Your image shows an active Serial port (SuperIO) which should be disabled in your BIOS settings.
Your processor's integrated Intel® HD Graphics are unsupported.

Thank you so much for your reply. I fixed some BIOS-settings, now they SHOULD be alright. I connected a driverless (I think so, is that right?) Apple GT 120 from my Mac Pro, but now the computer just restarts where the OS X installation screen was before. Pls help me again. Shall I send some screenshots from Verbose Mode again?

Erik

I just booted Verbose Mode, here is what I get.

Is my GT 120 even supported? Pls help!!!

Or should I buy a GTX 650? The computer just immediately restarts where the installation screen should be.

Hi,

I tried to install OS X El Capitan on my i3-540, Intel DH55TC and 4x2GB RAM machine.

I used Clover Legacy Boot Mode using Unibeast and Multibeast. I adapted settings in my BIOS and got to Clover installation screen.

When hitting "Install OS X from Boot" the Apple Logo shows up, the little grey bar fills up and the computer restarts instantly. I tried it using Integrated Intel HD Graphics and an Apple-branded Nvidia GT 120 from my Mac Pro. It should be driverless, isn't it? I booted using -v bootflag, I will upload some images of my results. Will using different bootflags (and which?) help solving the problem?

Thank you so much for your help.
Erik
