I hope I have posted this to the right forum (My apologies for posting elsewhere here, I wasn't sure where to ask),

I have put together a Customac Pro (gigabyte UD5h Mobo, Core I7, etc). I am trying to move my boot loader to the EFI partition of a Crucial m500 SSD (120 G) and I keep getting the dreaded boot1 error. I have managed to get this to work on a standard drive (original drive pulled from my imac) but not the SSD. Does anyone know if it is SSD's in general or something to do with the Crucial drive that is keeping this from working? Since it works on one drive and not the other I am pretty sure it is something with the SSD itself.

I have updated the firmware to the latest version and otherwise the drive works like a champ.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Thanks a bunch

Fleo
