EFI Audio guide for dummies?

Hi guys, since I upgraded to Yosemite a while back I just can not get on-board audio (Realtek ALC898) to work when I boot from Clover. If I use a USB headset I can get audio but the on-board is not detected. If I do a non EFI boot into Yosemite using Chameleon I can see Internal Speakers fine and hear audio, thanks to Multibeast, but even using Multibeast to add the EFI optional driver does not work. I have searched the web and tried all the different solutions including using Vietnam to patch the AppleHDA, and in turn having to do a reinstall to get a vanilla copy of it, but nothing has worked. I am hoping someone here can help me with a dummies guide or something.

TLDR; ALC898 on-board audio works when booting with Chameleon but not Clover. Need help to fix

Thanks but I tried that already and even after a reinstall the command is telling me I need the native AppleHDA. When I look in S/L/E I can see the ApplHDA kext but it just doesnt like it. I even came across an article (maybe on here even) with a vanilla kext and tried to install it with iKext but the command still did not work
