I ended up adding Kernel Flag "arch=i386" to the boot.plist and it boots fine now. Takes a little bit of time to boot but it boots, havnt seen any ill effects of that kernel flag though.

hey eelhead have u tried to get 10.8 in this build...
i have had no luck so far..to be fair i only tried 2x
no love yet 10.8 stable on my g4(1156) build..
i havent had time busy working...
im pondering just leaving 10.7.4 on my x58 build for now.
and spending more time on my monitor hack(19" cinema display/touch screen)...
so far only works with win 7 only...

just curios if anybody got 10.8 to work in asus sabertooth x58..

well haven't tried again ,but my 1156 build running 10.8.1 with no issues
did the combo update(apple)reboot done
no issues at all

but the x58 thing is still an issue for me
i may just do another build ivy bridge at least(z77)
im waiting on a 2011 build for a bit,but i might do a xeon e7 build though u know a 12 core monster would rock..lol
